ABOUT DTJ's FACILITIES
DTJ Sports Academy is one of the most complete and affordable sports training facilities for baseball and softball in the metro area. Conveniently located in St. Charles, Mo. near 3 major highways, our facility is over 16,000 sq ft and includes an indoor 80'x75' turf infield area, 8 hitting/pitching cages, and a 1400 sq ft viewing area with snack counter as shown below. The infield is fully netted sides and top for open hitting practice. The cages have all new equipment to include batting tees, pitching screens, pitching machines, training tools, and large dividers creating the opportunity for multiple hitting stations. Whether you are looking for individual instruction or to maximize your team training, we offer services that can help.

PARENT VIEWING AREA
Where parents and other members sit and watch lessons or team practice, enjoy a snack, or watch popular sporting events on our large screen TVs.
CAGE 1 - 55x20
Purposes: softball pitching instruction, youth hitting instruction
Amenities: two softball pitching lanes with pitching mats, pitching screens, batting tees
Cage 1 is a 55-foot extra wide cage, typically used for private professional softball pitching instruction.
CAGE 2 - 55x14
Purposes: hitting instruction, pitching machine work, team training

Cage 2 is a 55-foot cage, typically used for private professional instruction. Cage 2 has a Jugs pitching machine (baseball or softball), and is ideal for individual training or professional instruction.

Cage 5 is a 70-foot cage with 12x12 divider and can be used as several hitting stations. Often teams use a pitching machine or coach pitch on one part with a T-box on the other side of the divider. Cage 5 has a Jugs pitching machine (baseball or softball), and is ideal for individual training or professional instruction.

Cage 8 is positioned immediately adjacent to the indoor infield and during the winter training season is usually quoted with the infield for team training. Cage 8 has a Jugs pitching machine (baseball or softball), and is ideal for individual training or professional instruction.
CAGE A - 55' RETRACTABLE CAGE
Purposes: hitting instruction, pitching machine work, softball pitching, team training

Cage A is a retractable cage which slides on steel cables positioned within the indoor infield and generally included in the reservation of the infield. Cage A can be equipped with a Jugs pitching machine (baseball or softball), pitching mound or mat, and is ideal for individual training or professional instruction.
INFIELD AREA - 80x75
Purposes: Infield Drills, limited outfield drills, team fitness conditioning, open hitting

Amenities: Fully netted infield including ceiling, 25' high ceiling, for team contracts includes 55' retractable cage, pitching screens, fielder screens, batting tees, bases, surround sound
The indoor infield is 80x75 and includes a 14x55 foot retractable hitting cage that slides on wires. The infield is fully netted with 25-foot high ceiling for open hitting, infield drills, work on mechanics, or group conditioning.
